Job Summary

We are seeking a Junior Support Engineer with 1–3 years of experience to provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for the SAP Commerce (Hybris) platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting application issues, performing first-line resolution, and supporting business-critical eCommerce operations while working closely with senior engineers and development teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understands the Hybris type system, items.xml, and ServiceLayer basics (models, DAOs, converters/populators)
  • Reads and writes impex; runs FlexibleSearch queries; navigates Backoffice and HAC
  • Works with core commerce modules — catalog, cart, checkout, WCMS, pricing/promotions — at a functional level
  • General support: logs and triages tickets in the ITSM tool (e.g. ServiceNow, Jira), follows ITIL incident/service-request handling, respects SLA timers, and executes documented runbooks before escalating

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in application support, preferably supporting SAP Commerce (Hybris) environments.
  • Basic understanding of the SAP Commerce (Hybris) architecture and platform components.
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • Hybris Type System and items.xml
    • ServiceLayer concepts (Models, DAOs, Converters, Populators)
    • Impex scripting
    • FlexibleSearch queries
    • Hybris Backoffice and HAC
  • Functional knowledge of SAP Commerce modules, including Catalog, Cart, Checkout, WCMS, Pricing, and Promotions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • SAP Commerce (Hybris) training or certification is a plus.
