UI/UX Designer

Job Overview:
Abacus is looking for a creative and detail-oriented UI/UX Designer to join our Corporate Communications & Branding team. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience designing SaaS products, with a strong understanding of product thinking, user experience design, and interface systems.
This role calls for a product-focused designer skilled in wireframing, prototyping, and high-fidelity interface design, while also being capable of supporting broader visual and digital design tasks across the organization. The candidate should be comfortable contributing to structured product environments while strengthening Abacus overall digital and brand presence.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Product UI/UX Design:
- Design intuitive and scalable user experiences for SaaS products.
- Translate product requirements into user flows, wireframes, and structured design systems.
- Ensure usability, accessibility, and consistency across product interfaces.
2. Wireframing & Prototyping:
- Develop low-fidelity wireframes to define layout, structure, and user journeys.
- Create high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes ready for development.
- Iterate designs based on feedback from product and engineering teams.
3. Visual & Brand Support:
- Support Corporate Communications & Branding initiatives with digital design assets when required.
- Ensure alignment between product interfaces and Abacus visual identity standards.
- Contribute to landing pages, campaign visuals, and other digital materials as needed.
4. Collaboration & Project Management:
- Work closely with product managers, developers, designers, and marketing teams to deliver cohesive output.
- Participate in cross-functional discussions to ensure design clarity and execution.
- Manage multiple design assignments simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 3+ years of professional experience in UI/UX design, preferably in SaaS products.
- Strong portfolio showcasing product UI/UX work, including wireframes, low-fidelity mockups, and high-fidelity mockups.
- Ability to handle both structured product design and broader digital design tasks.
- Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Canva.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design, interaction design, and information architecture.
- Experience designing dashboards and workflow-driven interfaces.
- Strong attention to detail and consistency in design execution.
- Collaborative mindset and strong communication skills.
A portfolio demonstrating both product and visual design capability is required
