Position Overview

Abacus is seeking a strong GCP Pre-Sales Consultant to drive cloud-native modernization, API platform transformation, data platform engagements, and hybrid-to-cloud migrations across North America, Caribbean, and LATAM. This role will anchor Abacus positioning as a GCP Premier Partner and API-first transformation partner.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead cloud modernization discovery workshops and define phased roadmaps.

• Architect enterprise-grade GCP solutions (GKE, Cloud Run, Compute Engine, VPC, IAM, Cloud Armor).

• Design Apigee Hybrid/X architectures and API marketplaces.

• Develop migration blueprints and high-TPS scaling models (5K–10K TPS).

• Define observability and SRE frameworks targeting 99.99% uptime.

• Lead technical RFP responses including effort estimates and risk frameworks.

• Present modernization strategies to CIO/CTO-level stakeholders.

Required Experience

• 7–10 years in Cloud Architecture or Pre-Sales.

• Strong hands-on GCP experience.

• Kubernetes (GKE mandatory) and Apigee experience.

• Experience in Telco, BFSI, or Public Sector preferred.

Preferred Certifications

• Google Professional Cloud Architect.

• Apigee Certified Professional.

• CKA (Nice to have).

Location & Travel

Must be based in North America, Caribbean, or LATAM with flexibility to travel 20–40% regionally.
