Job Purpose:

· Oversee and manage the sales team to ensure achievement of sales targets and objectives. 

· Develop and implement sales strategies and action plans to drive sales growth and meet dealership goals. 

· Monitor and evaluate sales performance, providing guidance and support to team members.

Responsibilities Duties:

· Supervise, train, and motivate sales staff to improve performance and achieve sales targets. 

· Conduct regular team meetings to review performance, discuss goals, and address any issues. 

· Provide ongoing coaching and support to enhance the skills and effectiveness of the sales team. 

· Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service and addressing customer inquiries and concerns. 

· Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and customers. 

· Implement strategies to improve customer retention and repeat business. 

· Track and analyze sales data and performance metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. 

· Prepare and present regular sales reports to management, highlighting achievements and challenges. 

· Implement corrective actions and strategies to address performance issues and improve results. 

· Coordinate with other departments, such as finance, service, and marketing, to ensure smooth sales operations. 

· Oversee the implementation of sales promotions, campaigns, and events to drive traffic and increase sales. 

· Ensure compliance with dealership policies and industry regulations. 

· Conduct market research and analyze competitor activities to stay informed about industry trends and developments. 

· Use market insights to adjust sales strategies and tactics to maintain a competitive edge. 

· Collaborate with the inventory team to manage vehicle stock levels and ensure availability aligns with sales requirements. 

· Monitor inventory turnover and assist in planning for vehicle procurement and allocation. 

· Handle administrative tasks related to sales, including processing orders, managing customer records, and maintaining sales documentation.

· Ensure accurate and timely completion of sales paperwork and transactions.

Education:

· High school diploma or equivalent. A degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is advantageous.

Experience:

· Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in automotive sales, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or management role. 

· Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and leading a sales team. 

· Proficiency in sales management software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). 

· Strong understanding of sales principles, practices, and automotive industry trends.
