Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Cashier & Customer Service Representative. In this role, you will be responsible for handling cash transactions, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring the smooth operation of the checkout area.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Process cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Resolve customer complaints and escalate issues to the appropriate supervisor when necessary
- Answer customer inquiries and provide product information
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive and efficient shopping experience for customers
- Process refunds and exchanges, while resolving any related customer complaints
- Ensure clear and efficient communication with all customers regarding payment terms and verify their requests.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service role is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
