Position: Retail Manager


Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Manager to join our team. The Retail Manager is responsible for driving sales growth, quality, and profitability of branches through the branch managers across the country. S/He executes business plans, involving retail platform standards and performance measures to instil brand consistency and operational excellence. S/He conducts ongoing business reviews to identify areas of opportunity and monitors branches performance using financial, operations, customer service and other statistical data.

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Lead, coach and guide Branches Managers for meeting and exceeding strategic sales and growth objectives, business metrics and profitability

- Work directly with the Branches Managers to set monthly, quarterly, and annual goals for sales, operating expenses, and other key performance metrics.

- Develop and implement strategies to improve sales and profitability.

- Monitor and analyze sales and inventory data to make informed decisions.

- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations in a timely and professional manner.

- Conduct ongoing business reviews and Branches audits to identify and support the Branches in acting on areas of opportunity and improvement in marketing, merchandising, product assortment, selling and sales floor productivity

- Agree on a yearly calendar of sales with the General Manager and the commercial team

- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities; provide action plans and follow up on implementation

- Support the increase of Branches efficiencies by assisting Branch management teams in using staffing to traffic and other methodologies to properly manage the Branch

- Oversee the visual merchandising and product placement to optimize sales.

- Maintain a presence in the Branches, personally greeting and interacting with customers to observe the associate/customer experience as well as shopping behaviors

- Communicate company and departmental issues and goals and facilitate employee growth and development through weekly team meetings, regular individual employee meetings, coaching, training, and company-offered learning opportunities

- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement promotional activities and events.

- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.

- Manage the recruitment, training, and development of new team members.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field.

- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a retail management role.

- Strong Experience in Sales, Marketing and Merchandising

- Demonstrate Strategic Vision and Customer Centricity

- Strong Retail experience managing a large network of Branches across the country

- Dynamic personality and ability to engage and animate teams

- Strategic mindset and business acumen

- Experience managing multiple stakeholders and managing upwards

- Experience in leading and managing high performing teams.

- Evidence of excellence in communication and negotiation, especially in complex settings and in a cross-cultural environment.

- Good Knowledge of MS Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

- Knowledge of local cultural conditions

- Fluency in Arabic and English (verbal and written)
