Position: Van Delivery Driver

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Van Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Van Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering products to our customers in a timely and efficient manner. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time.

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Safely and efficiently operate a delivery van to transport goods to customers

- Plan and organize delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient deliveries

- Load and unload products from the van, ensuring proper handling and storage

- Verify and confirm accuracy of delivery orders before departure

- Collect payments from customers, issue receipts and maintain accurate records

- Communicate with customers in a professional and friendly manner

- Report any delivery issues or customer concerns to the supervisor

- Perform routine vehicle maintenance and keep the van clean and well-maintained

- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies and procedures

- Assist with warehouse duties and inventory management as needed

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a delivery driver

- Familiarity with delivery routes and locations in the region

- Strong communication and customer service skills

- Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy items

- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety procedures
