About Our Inclusive Traineeship Program
Our traineeships combine:
- Paid employment from day one
- A nationally recognised qualification
- A supportive workplace trained in inclusive practices
- Ongoing guidance from Ability Advocates team of Psychologists, OTs and Employment Specialists
We accept quarterly intakes, giving candidates consistent opportunities throughout the year.

Eligibility — For People with Disability
This traineeship program is exclusively for people with disability, including long‑term conditions such as: Autism, ADHD, mental health conditions, intellectual disability, mobility limitations, neurological conditions, learning differences, chronic illness, or sensory impairments.
Youll need one form of evidence, such as:
- NDIS Plan or Access Letter
- Support letter from a treating practitioner
- Disability Support Pension evidence
- School disability verification
(or any document confirming functional impact for 12+ months)

About the Role — Early Childhood Trainee
As an Early Childhood Trainee, youll work in a warm, supportive early learning environment helping educators and children with daily routines, play and learning activities.
You will learn to:
- Support childrens development and wellbeing
- Assist with learning experiences and school‑readiness routines
- Communicate with educators and families
- Prepare resources and learning environments
- Follow safety, supervision and wellbeing procedures
Youll also complete a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, supported every step of the way.
