Position Summary

We are seeking passionate, dedicated, and qualified Secondary Teachers to join our dynamic team. As a teacher at ABQ, you will inspire students, cultivate critical thinking, and contribute to a vibrant and inclusive school community.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and differentiated instruction aligned with ABQs curriculum and educational philosophy
• Plan, prepare, and assess student work in accordance with school expectations
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leaders to enhance student learning
• Integrate digital tools and resources, including the ABQ 1:1 Chromebook Programme
• Participate in professional development and school enrichment activities
• Uphold and model the ABQ values of respect, integrity, and excellence

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Education or a relevant subject area
• A PGCE, QTS, or equivalent teaching qualification
• Minimum 4 years of teaching experience, preferably in an international or bilingual setting (Cambridge Curriculum preferred)
• Strong command of English (spoken and written)
• Competence in using technology as a teaching tool
• A passion for innovative teaching and student success
• Commitment to professional growth and lifelong learning
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Professional Preferences

• Experience with Cambridge International and/or UK Curriculum
• Oman MoE GED curriculum
• Previous teaching experience in the Middle East
• Additional certifications in education technology or inclusive education
