Are you a recent graduate with a passion for communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving? Were looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Graduate Sales Assistant to join our expanding Sales team and play a key role in supporting business growth.
This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your commercial skills, gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment, and grow into a long-term sales career.
As a Graduate Sales Assistant, you will help drive customer acquisition for Amperia, Abselions protein quantification instrumentation. You will support the Sales team to deliver impactful sales campaigns and help to ensure new sales leads are nurtured through the sales cycle. You will collaborate with teams across the organisation to facilitate Abselions growth in the global bioprocessing market.
Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting the Sales team with lead research, identification and outreach.
Helping to qualify leads and engage with prospective customers to schedule phone calls and meetings.
Prospecting prior to conferences and setting up 1:1 meetings at events with prospective customers.
Assisting in the creation of sales communications to explain our product offering to potential customers, including preparing proposals, presentations and email messaging.
Reporting on the progress and success of prospecting campaigns.
Supporting the Sales team to prepare update presentations on the progress of the customer pipeline.
Ensuring Hubspot, our CRM, is kept accurate and up to date in line with best practices and all features of Hubspot are used to maximum benefit.
Collaborating with teams across the organization to learn about our product offering to support our outreach messaging into the market.
We are looking for a proactive, self-sufficient candidate who demonstrates strong initiative and has a life sciences background, looking to kickstart their career in a commercial or start-up environment. The position is office based in Cambridge, UK.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in biology, biochemistry or another life sciences related field.
- Some post-graduate experience, for example have completed an internship in a commercial role (e.g. sales, consulting etc).
- Ability to work independently and quickly acquire new skills and technologies.
- Competent user of Microsoft Office.
- Basic knowledge of HubSpot CRM is a plus.
- Great communication and presentation skills.
