We are looking for a Sr. PHP Developer (Architecture Focus) with E-commerce experience and experience working with direct payment processing

Responsibilities:

In addition to PHP development and backend responsibilities, the Senior Developer will also contribute significantly to the system architecture and design. This includes:

• System Design & Architecture: You will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of the overall system architecture. You will work on designing microservices, API integrations, and data flows to ensure optimal system performance.
• Cloud Infrastructure and Deployment.
• Performance Optimization.
• API Design & Integration.
• Data Architecture & Modeling.
• Security Architecture.

Key requirements:

• +7 years of experience with PHP language and have experience with frameworks like Laravel, Symfony, or similar.
• Experience implementing and using RESTful APIs in a microservice architecture.
• Have usable understanding of front-end technologies.
• Understand the concepts of object-oriented programming (+3 years)
• Have familiarity with optimizing interactions with backend storage, such as MySQL (+4 years).
• Have experience developing in a largely distributed environment.
• Experience working with JSON and Remote Processing
• Advanced level of English (oral and written)
• Linux-based systems administration
• Knowledge of open-source solutions like AWS
• Proficient understanding when committing code to Git, Branching, and Merging code
• Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system
• Payment Gateway Integration

Hire conditions:

• Direct contract with the client on a long-term basis
• Full time position
• Working hours from 9am-5pm Eastern Time (ie. Toronto)
• 100% remote
• Holidays of the country of residence
