Entry Level Remote WFH Part time and Full time - Software Improvement Project Manager

Position Overview

We're looking for an experienced software improvement project manager who can take charge of a software–development effort focused on improving an existing product. The work spans three intertwined objectives: refreshing the user interface and overall visual design, driving measurable performance gains, and rolling out selected new features without disrupting current users.

You'll be our point person for planning and tracking the full lifecycle: clarifying requirements with product and UX, translating them into sprint-ready tickets, coordinating developers and QA, and keeping stakeholders informed through concise status reports and demos. I already have an in-house engineering team in place—what we need is your structure, visibility, and risk management to keep the enhancements moving smoothly.

We expect you to set up and maintain an agile framework (Jira or equivalent), establish realistic milestones, manage dependencies, and flag scope creep early. Familiarity with version-control workflows, continuous integration, and performance monitoring tools is essential so you can speak the teams language and spot bottlenecks before they grow.

Success for this engagement means:
A clear, agreed-upon roadmap for UI updates, performance optimization tasks, and feature releases.
On-time delivery of each sprint with burn-down charts that match reality.
Post-release metrics showing faster load times, cleaner UI feedback, and stable adoption of the new features.
