As a Data Architect, you will be responsible for the overall structure, integration, and management of data across our solution, ensuring data quality, security, and optimal performance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and implementation, to create scalable and maintainable data solutions that meet the needs of healthcare providers, insurance companies, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain the data architecture for our Health Claim Management Solution, including data models, database schemas, data integration processes, and data storage strategies.

2. Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define data requirements and translate them into effective data solutions.

3. Evaluate and recommend appropriate data storage and management technologies, including relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL), NoSQL databases (e.g., Elasticsearch), and distributed data processing frameworks (e.g., Spark, Flink).

4. Design and implement data pipelines, ETL processes, and real-time/streaming data processing solutions to ensure timely and accurate data ingestion and integration.

5. Develop and enforce data quality standards, including data validation, cleansing, and enrichment processes.

6. Implement data security measures, ensuring compliance with relevant data privacy and security regulations, such as GDPR and HIPAA, as well as regional regulations applicable to the UAE and KSA markets.

7. Optimize database performance and scalability, implementing indexing, partitioning, caching, and other strategies as needed.

8. Create and maintain documentation of data architecture, data models, and data flow diagrams, ensuring that technical and non-technical stakeholders understand the structure and organization of data within our solution.

9. Collaborate with implementation teams to ensure seamless integration of data solutions with healthcare organizations' existing systems and processes.

10. Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, continually evaluating and recommending new tools and techniques to improve our data architecture and management capabilities.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.

2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, and database design, ideally within the healthcare or insurance industry.

3. Strong understanding of the healthcare claims management process and the unique data requirements of the UAE and KSA markets.

4. Expertise in database technologies, including relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., Elasticsearch).

5. Experience with distributed data processing frameworks (e.g., Spark, Flink) and data integration technologies (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).

6. Familiarity with cloud-based data storage and management solutions, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

7. Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards, such as HL7, FHIR, and DICOM, is a plus.

8. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.

9. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and explain complex data concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

10. Familiarity with data privacy and security regulations, such as GDPR and HIPAA, as well as regional regulations applicable to the UAE and KSA markets.
