Role Summary.

A Digital Marketing Specialist, or Digital Marketer, is responsible for helping maintain a brand by working on marketing campaigns. Their duties include performing market research, strategizing with other marketing professionals and creating content to aid in the success of marketing campaigns. Digital Marketing Specialists should compare your companys advertising techniques and offerings with those of competing businesses. They should help maintain a profitable message for your company and help with research to ensure your offerings come close to ideal price points to offer value to potential clients but still let you enjoy a thriving business. They should keep an eye on data that shows changing trends in advertising consumption and ensure that potential clients and consumers view your companys ad projects and buy your products.

Objective of the Role

  • Collaborate with business team to uncover insights for developing marketing and branding strategies for existing and new products
  • Understand key performance metrics and tracking tools for market research, forecasts, competitor analyses, campaign results, and consumer trends, and translate results into actionable insights for marketing team.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Devise and implement search engine optimization (SEO) and pay-per-click (PPC) strategies.
  • Create and manage link-building and content marketing strategies.
  • Develop and maintain a social media presence.
  • Develop engaging online content including blog articles, videos, graphics, and ads; monitor and analyze content click-through rates.
  • Forecast marketing campaign growth and return-on-investment (ROI) and report these to leadership.
  • Manage and write copy for email and social media marketing campaigns, among others.
  • Contact, interview, and hire graphic artists, web designers, videographers, etc. to create unique, engaging content.
  • Use Google Analytics, Google AdWords, and other relevant digital marketing tools.
  • Devise new ways of driving traffic to the company website/s. Regularly maintain and update the user journey on the website as required.
  • Develop and manage projects and team members, including delegating tasks, reviewing team member work, adhering closely to deadlines and budget, developing, and revising ideas.
  • Stay abreast of new social media sites, web technologies, and digital marketing trends; implement these new technologies when developing campaigns and update current campaigns.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned by the Managing Director and CEO

Required Skills.

  • Successful track record in senior marketing role and campaign creation
  • Strong project management, Data Analysis, and people management

  • Ability to grow business revenue through effective marketing strategies.

Education and experience

  • Masters or bachelors degree in marketing in a reputed university
  • Professional courses or certifications in marketing are an added advantage.
  • 4-6 years of work experience in the similar field in the UAE
  • Experience working in the agency [diversified sectors] is a must for this role, managing and handing different markets in the GCC or Middle East.
  • Experience working with project stakeholders/business leadership team
  • Experience in digital and print marketing, communications, content marketing, social media marketing, PR & and branding
  • Skills Project Management, Strategy & planning, Data Analytics, Design skills, copy writing skills, .
  • Familiarity with web design and content management systems
  • Skills in co-developing and co-creating content and ideas that will attract new clients and help keep existing ones engaged on various platforms (social media).
