Activus Recruitment seeks a highly qualified and experienced Health & Safety Consultant to join a leading construction and concrete specialist based in Aberdeenshire. This role involves managing multiple clients across the UK, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and fostering a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct site audits and inspections, identifying risks and recommending corrective actions
  • Develop and implement health & safety policies, procedures, and documentation
  • Advise clients on compliance with CDM Regulations 2015 and industry standards
  • Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, implementing corrective actions
  • Deliver training sessions and workshops on health & safety best practices
  • Assist clients with ISO Integrated Management Systems, including audits
  • Develop and implement emergency response plans
  • Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices

Personal Requirements:

  • NEBOSH Occupational Health & Safety and Environmental Management Qualification
  • Proven experience in a health & safety advisory or audit role
  • Strong knowledge of health & safety regulations, including CDM 2015
  • Experience with internal and external audits (advantageous)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience delivering staff training (advantageous)
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
