About the Job

A leading company in the construction equipment hire industry is seeking an Appointment Setter to support its high-performing sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for scheduling site visits, managing client communications, and coordinating sales activities across high-value construction projects throughout Australia. Your work will play a vital role in boosting project engagement and enhancing the overall effectiveness of the sales process through efficient appointment coordination and CRM management.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Appointment Setting & Coordination: Call prospects from BCI project reports to identify key personnel involved in construction projects. Qualify and connect with decision-makers or site managers to book appointments for field sales reps. Schedule face-to-face meetings for field reps to deliver catalogues and introduce specialized hire solutions. Coordinate visits based on project value and priority.
  2. Sales Team Support: Collaborate closely with field sales reps to optimize route planning and calendar management. Send appointment confirmation messages (text and email) before and after each scheduled visit. Maintain and update contact records and call notes in HubSpot CRM.
  3. CRM & Tool Usage: Use platforms to plan efficient travel routes and visualize territory coverage. Log up all communications, outcomes, and next steps in HubSpot. Ensure leads handed off from Account Managers is followed promptly and effectively.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelors degree in any relevant courses
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in sales coordination, B2B appointment setting, or telemarketing, preferably within the construction sector. Experience with BCI (Building Construction Information) reports or similar project databases is highly advantageous.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in using CRM platforms like HubSpot to effectively manage client data and interactions, along with mapping tools such as Mapsly and Google Maps for optimizing route planning and geographic analysis. Skilled in handling a high volume of calls and managing calendar bookings efficiently, ensuring smooth operations and timely scheduling.
  • Soft Skills: A self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills, capable of prioritizing tasks and working independently to meet deadlines.
  • Language: Fluent in English
