General Engineer III
Job Description:
*SECRET Clearance/TS/SCI maybe required
Must possess a Bachelors Degree in engineering specialization or related discipline and ten years applicable experience; or a Masters Degree in engineering specialization or related discipline and five years applicable experience.
Experience in DoD integrated test philosophy, test regulations, and coordinated test and evaluation programs are required.
Must be familiar with DoD drawings, specifications practices, formats and procedures.
Duties:
Independently evaluates, selects and applies standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria, and makes minor adaptations and modifications.
Provides independent and professional support on portions of complex projects.
Specific assignment objectives, approaches, and possible solutions are reviewed for accuracy and completeness.
Duties and responsibilities include: independently performs a project assignment that involves complex features and can be guided by codes, standards, and other precedents of the discipline; analyzes and/or evaluates the results of an analysis using techniques prescribed by senior engineers or supervisors; and accomplishes tasks of which require investigation of a many variables.

Five (5) years of experience gained within the past 10 years (2010 to present) in system readiness evaluation in any of the following:
a. HSI to include training, manpower, personnel, system safety, health hazards, Soldier survivability and human factors engineering;
b. IPS elements to include Product Support Management, Design Interface, Sustaining Engineering, Supply Support, Support Equipment; Packaging, Handling, Storage and Transportation, Computer Resources, Manpower and Personnel, Maintenance Planning and Management, Training and Training Support, Facilities and Infrastructure, and Technical Data Management;
c. Doctrine, Organization, Training, Materiel, Leader Development, Personnel, Facilities, and Policy (DOTMLPF-P); and d. Experience with Soldier readiness, unit readiness, and Army readiness; unit employment; mission context; mission tasks; tactics, techniques, and procedures; and platform integration.
