Role Overview
The Project Manager will work closely with the Kerala High Court team designated for Adalat AI implementation, coordinate with district courts across Kerala, and travel extensively to monitor and support deployment efforts. This position also involves collaborating with the COO and operations team to ensure smooth execution, troubleshooting, and iterative improvements.
This is a high-visibility role, with direct interaction with the High Court, district judges, court administrators, and government officials, ensuring that Adalat AIs solutions effectively enhance judicial efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- High Court-Level Implementation & Liaison
- Work directly with the Kerala High Court team designated for Adalat AI deployment, ensuring alignment with judicial requirements.
- Serve as the legal and operational liaison between Adalat AI and the Chief Justices office, Registrar General, and High Court IT committee.
- Provide regular status reports to the High Court on deployment progress and troubleshoot challenges in implementation.
- Deployment & Monitoring Across District Courts
- Travel across Kerala to oversee real-time implementation in district courts.
- Engage with District Judges, Court Administrators, and Stenographers to ensure proper onboarding and usage of Adalat AIs tools.
- Conduct field visits to assess court adoption levels and provide hands-on support for judges and staff.
- Identify challenges in ground-level adoption and work with operations and product teams to refine processes
- Collaboration with Operations Teams & COO
- Work closely with the COO and Operations Team to design and refine court deployment strategies.
- Supervise on-ground tech representatives and court liaisons to ensure smooth functioning.
- Implement a systematic workflow for troubleshooting, ensuring that judges and court staff receive timely support.
- Maintain detailed documentation on court interactions, feedback, and areas for improvement.
- Training & Capacity Building for Judges & Court Staff
- Develop and conduct training sessions for judges, court clerks, and stenographers on AI-powered judicial tools.
- Organize workshops and onboarding programs at district court locations.
- Ensure that judicial stakeholders are confident in using AI-based transcription, case management, and automation solutions.
- Data Collection, Impact Assessment & Reporting
- Track court-level adoption rates, efficiency improvements, and user feedback.
- Work with the Adalat AI data and research team to assess the impact of AI adoption on case processing speeds.
- Prepare and present detailed impact reports for the High Court and government partners.
- Troubleshooting & Real-Time User Support System
- Set up a feedback and troubleshooting process for judges and court staff.
- Work with Adalat AIs technical team to resolve implementation challenges and iterate solutions based on field insights.
- Establish real-time communication channels with judicial users to ensure ongoing technical support and feature improvements.
Qualifications
- LLB (required); LLM preferred.
- Proficiency in English and Malayalam.
- 3+ years of experience as a lawyer, judicial clerk, or legal professional, preferably with experience in appellate or district courts in Kerala.
- Strong familiarity with court procedures, judicial workflows, and government engagement.
- Experience working with High Court and district courts on legal or technology-related projects.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage judges, registrars, and court staff professionally.
- Willingness to travel extensively across Kerala for monitoring and deployment efforts.
- Ability to liaise between legal, technical, and operations teams to ensure smooth implementation
