Financial Adviser (IFA) Experienced
Berwick-upon-Tweed
Full-time, Permanent (37 hours per week)
£50,000 - £90,000 (DOE)
We're currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity with our client based in Berwick Upon Tweed.
We are seeking a motivated professional to join our clients well-established and highly respected wealth management team. This is an excellent opportunity to deliver independent, holistic financial advice to a broad and growing client base, while working in a collaborative and supportive environment.
⭐ The Role
- Provide independent financial advice across investments, pensions, estate and inheritance tax planning, trusts, and protection (note: this role does not involve mortgage advice).
- Build strong, trusted relationships with clients supporting their financial planning needs over the long term.
- Contribute to business growth through client retention and new business development.
- Ensure all advice and documentation meet FCA requirements and internal quality standards.
- Collaborate with a team of skilled paraplanners and support staff, who provide dedicated technical and administrative assistance.
- Keep up to date with regulatory changes and maintain high professional standards through CPD and personal development.
The Candidate
- Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (essential).
- Experience in financial advice or paraplanning within a regulated environment.
- Progress toward Level 6 / Chartered status (desirable).
- Solid knowledge of FCA regulations (e.g., COBS, Consumer Duty) and compliance standards.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex issues clearly.
- Proactive and collaborative approach to working within a team.
- Proficient in financial planning software (e.g., Voyant) and CRM systems (e.g., Xplan).
