ABOUT THE ROLE:
Whether you're in the heart of Vilnius, Riga, or Tallinn (with the option of hybrid work), you'll join forces with dedicated professionals in the financial and insurance sector. You will be at the forefront of delivering complex IT initiatives, working on projects such as system decommissioning, infrastructure upgrades, and application/data migrations.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
Project Execution
- Lead technical projects related to system decommissioning, infrastructure upgrades, and application/data migrations.
- Deliver projects on time, within scope, and to quality standards.
- Identify, track, and mitigate risks and issues throughout the project Lifecycle.
- Coordinate dependencies across infrastructure, application, security, data, and vendors.
- Maintain structured project documentation aligned with IT and security standards.
- Ensure smooth handover to operations with knowledge transfer and documentation.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
- Collaborate with business owners, IT leads, and external vendors to align objectives and plans.
- Facilitate decision-making and ensure transparent communication of risks, blockers, and issues.
- Manage vendor deliverables and contractual commitments.
- Provide regular project status reports to steering groups and senior stakeholders.
Change & Transition Support
- Minimize disruption to business operations during migrations and decommissions.
- Develop and manage cutover and rollback plans for critical activities.
- Coordinate UAT, post-migration validation, and hypercare activities.
- Support stakeholders with change management and communication.
WHAT WE EXPECT:
- Proven experience managing complex IT technical projects (infrastructure, network, lifecycle, etc.), coordinating internal and external resources.
- Strong knowledge of IT environments, integration dependencies, and change management principles.
- Familiarity with ITIL, service transition, or similar frameworks is an advantage.
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
Professional Background
- 5+ years of experience as an IT Project Manager, Technical Project Manager, or Program Manager.
- Demonstrated success delivering IT infrastructure and application projects in large enterprises.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and vendors.
- Background in insurance, financial services, or other regulated industries is preferred.
