Job Purpose
We are setting up a new greenfield project (250 KTPA capacity in two phases of 125 KTPA each) at Rayong. We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to contribute to the successful execution of the project within budget and timelines, ensuring adherence to global safety and quality standards. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, consultants, and contractors to achieve seamless project delivery.
Key Responsibilities

Engineering & Design (15%)
-
Develop, review, and verify electrical engineering designs, calculations, and technical specifications.

Ensure compliance with project requirements, international standards, company standards, and Thai regulations.

Recommend updates based on latest technologies.

Project Management (25%)
-
Manage full project lifecycle from conceptual design to commissioning.

Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems (Transmission Lines, Substations, Transformers, HV/MV/LV panels, Motors, MCCs, VFDs, Lighting, Grounding, Protection systems, etc.).

Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and at required quality standards.

Team & Contractor Management (15%)

Supervise and guide subordinates and contractors.

Manage manpower mobilization and multi-tasking during construction.

Health, Safety & Quality (15%)

Ensure compliance with global and Thai safety standards.

Drive quality execution in all project activities.

Regulatory & Compliance (15%)
-
Liaise with government authorities (PEA, EGAT, etc.) to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.

Documentation & Reporting (15%)

Maintain accurate, updated drawings, records, and project documentation.

Support internal and external audits.

Key Challenges

Managing complete project lifecycle from concept to commissioning.

Delivering large-scale greenfield projects within tight timelines using modern technologies.
Qualifications & Skills
-
Education: Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering.

Experience: Minimum 8-10 years (preferably in Construction, Large Manufacturing, Chemicals, Cement, Petroleum, Metals, or Engineering industries).

License: Level 2 Electrical Power Professional Engineering License (mandatory).

Technical Expertise:
-
Erection, testing, and commissioning of substations (EHV, MV, LV).
-
Power transformers, switchgears, MCCs, VFDs, UPS, motors, protection systems.

SAP PM module, MS Office (Excel & PowerPoint).

Behavioral Skills: Strong teamwork, problem-solving, positive attitude, and interpersonal skills.

Other: Open to travel and remote site work. English proficiency is an advantage.
