Context and Importance of the Role:

Our client is a premium brand known for delivering authentic Thai culinary experiences globally. Their success depends on maintaining a seamless collaboration between strategic product planning and technical execution.

  • The Product Manager acts as the strategic driver, ensuring our products align with customer needs, market trends, and business objectives. They bridge the gap between what the market demands and what is delivered.
  • Product Manager is integral to driving innovation, maintaining our brands reputation, and supporting both our in-house product line and future OEM projects.
  • This role ensures that every product launched not only reflects our clients brand values but also meets the highest quality standards while being aligned with market expectations.
  • PMs collaboration is particularly critical in working with our Master Chef, who serves as both the formulator and final taste approver for our in-house product line.
  • It requires close communication and coordination, with distinct responsibilities to minimize overlap.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Product Strategy:

  • Develop comprehensive product roadmaps for Blue Elephants entire portfolio, including in-house products and OEM projects.
  • Conduct detailed market analysis to identify customer needs, competitive gaps, and trends.
  • Define clear product requirements, specifications, and success metrics.

2. Cross-Functional Leadership:

  • Collaborate with R&D to ensure technical feasibility and align innovation with market demands.
  • Work with procurement and purchasing teams to align sourcing with product requirements.
  • Coordinate with marketing and sales teams to execute go-to-market strategies effectively.

3. Customer-Centric Innovation:

  • Gather and prioritize customer feedback to improve products and identify new opportunities.
  • Ensure all product developments align with Blue Elephants brand values and quality standards.

4. Project Management:

  • Oversee product development timelines, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to budget.
  • Use project management tools to track progress and communicate updates across departments.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in product management, ideally in the food or FMCG sector.
  • Strong understanding of food science and customer-driven market strategies.
  • Exceptional project management and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in Business English and familiarity with tools like Google Workspace (with flexibility to implement preferred systems).
