About the Role

We are looking for a Project Finance Manager to oversee the finance operations of a major expansion project. This role is crucial for managing Capex accounting, bill processing, cash flow, compliance, and reporting activities. You'll work closely with project teams, finance colleagues, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth financial management across all phases of the project.

This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys working across both corporate office and plant environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage project Capex accounting and ensure timely bill processing.

• Review and monitor Assets Under Construction (AUC) monthly.

• Coordinate with technical and purchasing teams for invoice collection and approvals.

• Monitor project commitments and track purchase orders (PR/PO).

• Handle asset accounting, reconciliation of consumables (like steel and cables), and supervise physical asset verifications.

• Manage general admin finance activities, including payroll and administration expenses related to the project team.

• Prepare and review monthly project MIS reports and maintain statutory compliance trackers.

• Coordinate legal, tax, insurance, and audit requirements related to the project.

• Ensure strong internal controls, timely month-end closing, and compliance with accounting policies.

• Support the Site Finance Controller by assisting in financial planning, reporting, and operational control.

What Were Looking For

• A qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).

• 68 years of finance experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment with project finance exposure.

• Strong knowledge of project accounting, IFRS, tax, and compliance.

• Hands-on experience with SAP systems.

• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and meet tight deadlines.

• Good communication skills in English.

• A strong sense of ownership, attention to detail, and ability to work flexibly across corporate and site offices.
