Position: R&D Professional

Location: Pathumthani 

Reporting Line: Product Manager, QA Manager

Shift Time: 8am to 6pm (Including 1 hour break)

Salary/Budget: THB 40K

Context and Importance of the Role:

Our client is a premium brand known for delivering authentic Thai culinary experiences globally. Their success depends on maintaining a seamless collaboration between strategic product planning and technical execution.

  • The R&D Professional is the technical backbone, turning ideas into reality through formulation, compliance, and production scalability.
  • The role is integral to driving innovation, maintaining our brands reputation, and supporting both our in-house product line and future OEM projects.
  • This role ensure that every product launched not only reflects our clients brand values but also meets the highest quality standards while being aligned with market expectations.
  • His/her collaboration is particularly critical in working with our Master Chef, who serves as both the formulator and final taste approver for our in-house product line.
  • It requires close communication and coordination, with distinct responsibilities to minimize overlap.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Product Development & Innovation:

  • Develop and optimize formulations for new products and enhance existing ones.
  • Lead sensory evaluations, stability tests, and product trials to ensure premium quality.
  • Balance creativity with production feasibility and cost-effectiveness.

2. Regulatory & Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure all products meet local and international regulatory standards.
  • Provide detailed documentation, including ingredient lists, nutritional information, and labeling compliance.
  • Conduct quality control assessments and resolve production issues as needed.

3. Collaboration & Feedback Integration:

  • Work with the Product Manager to incorporate customer and market insights into product development.
  • Collaborate with Master Chef to finalize formulations and ensure alignment with brand standards.

4. Production Support:

  • Assist in scaling formulations for production and troubleshooting manufacturing challenges.
  • Coordinate with external suppliers and labs to support technical innovations and ingredient sourcing.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or related fields.
  • Experience in product formulation, sensory evaluation, and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
