Job Title: Junior Insurance Broker

Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Insurance Broker to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support in the placement of individual insurance policies, handling administrative tasks, documentation, and back-office operations. You will work closely with senior brokers and clients to ensure smooth and efficient policy management, ensuring compliance with insurance regulations and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the placement and renewal of individual insurance policies, including auto, home, travel, etc.
- Prepare and process insurance documentation, including quotes, policy endorsements, and renewal notices.
- Maintain accurate records and client files in the company's management systems.
- Support senior brokers in obtaining and reviewing policy quotations from insurance providers.
- Communicate with clients to gather required documentation and information for policy issuance.
- Handle day-to-day administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and email correspondence.
- Follow up with clients regarding outstanding payments, renewals, and claims.
- Assist with back-office tasks, including policy updates and cancellations, and other operational support.
- Ensure all documentation and client communications comply with regulatory and company standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing queries and concerns promptly.
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with insurance products is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Prior administrative experience is preferred; insurance industry experience is a bonus.
- Strong work ethic, problem-solving abilities, and a willingness to learn.
Education & Experience:
- University diploma or equivalent (required).
- Broking License is a plus.
- Previous experience in insurance or administrative support is an advantage, but not required.
