Our client is operating an AI-powered asset management solution platform. Their IoT sensors bring data from connected assets into the cloud, where AI and analytics are applied to maximize their performance. They are a global company, headquartered in Calgary with a presence across North America, the UK and continental Europe, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and China.

They seek a Software Engineer to be part of a fast-growing technology development team working closely with fellow team members in seven countries who are changing the way the world’s most critical energy infrastructure is managed.

Responsibility:

• Full-stack software development of web and mobile applications using Microsoft technologies (.NET, C#, SQL Server, JavaScript/jQuery)
• Enhance, maintain, and support existing web and mobile application products
• Improve and support RESTful APIs for existing products
• Assist in design and development of new web/mobile applications
• Engage in product testing

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering or related discipline, or a combination of related experience
• 1 to 2 years+ of related software developer work experience. Open to new graduates with technical course work using JavaScript
• Familiar with Microsoft Visual Studio and Microsoft SQL Serve
• Understand web application development
• Proficient in server-side development such as ASP.NET, MVC, C#, SQL queries, and strong client-side scripting such as JavaScript and jQuery
• Familiar with Xamarin.Forms, Restful API architecture and .NET Core [nice to have]
