As a Travel Executive, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service by assisting customers with booking and managing their travel arrangements. Your responsibilities will involve issuing tickets, processing reservations and processing visa application to ensure a smooth and hassle-free travel experience for passengers. Attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a customer-focused approach are essential to succeed in this role.

The day-to-day activities:

  • Accurately issue and confirm bookings for flights, hotels, cars, trains, and other travel services, ensuring all customer details are correct
  • Assist customers in making and modifying reservations, including seating preferences, special requests, airline membership details and visa information / application / processing.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and offering travel-related advice.
  • Manager payments, process refunds, and handle payment-related inquiries while adhering to financial policies
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of transactions, passenger information, and ticketing-related paperwork in accordance with company policies.

The must haves:

  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset and the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
  • Detail-oriented, ensuring accuracy in ticket processing and customer information management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively assist customers and collaborate with team members
  • Familiar with using GDS reservation systems such as Travelport, Amadeus and/or Sabre along with basic Microsoft Office applications
  • Flexible and willing to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays to meet the demands of travel schedules
  • Possesses an IATA/UFTAA Basic/Advance Ticketing Certificate preferred
