Registered Manager Childrens Home
Location: Coventry
Salary: £60,000 £65,000 per annum

Our client is seeking a passionate and experienced Registered Manager to lead the development and management of a new 4-bed Childrens Home in Coventry. The home will support children and young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a newly established business at ground level, where you will play a pivotal role in:

• Setting up and registering the home with OFSTED

• Developing and leading a high-quality care environment

• Recruiting, training, and managing staff

• Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and safeguarding requirements

• Delivering exceptional care and achieving outstanding outcomes for the children

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the homes day-to-day operations, ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance

• Lead the recruitment, development, and supervision of a dedicated care team

• Establish and maintain effective safeguarding practices

• Develop policies and procedures to support the smooth running of the service

• Build strong relationships with external agencies, families, and other stakeholders

• Drive continuous improvement to ensure the home achieves and maintains a positive OFSTED rating

About You:

• Experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager in a childrens residential setting

• Strong knowledge of OFSTED standards, safeguarding, and regulatory requirements

• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop staff teams

• Passionate about delivering high-quality care and improving outcomes for children

• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards)
