Salary: up to £36,000 per annum

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30-16:30 (there are no on-call duties in this position)

The Role

 Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leadership & Staff Management: Lead, support, and develop a team of care professionals, fostering a positive and inclusive working culture that promotes continuous learning and high morale.

  • Care Planning & Compliance: Ensure the development and implementation of robust, person-centred care plans that meet individual needs and comply with all relevant legislation and CQC requirements.

  • Quality Assurance: Monitor, audit, and continuously improve care delivery and service standards to ensure safety, effectiveness, and client satisfaction.

  • Family & Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a key point of contact for families, professionals, and regulatory bodies, providing regular updates and maintaining strong, transparent relationships.

  • Service Development: Work collaboratively with the Registered Manager to drive service improvements, address operational challenges, and contribute to the strategic growth of the business.

  • Operational Oversight: Maintain effective oversight of the day-to-day operations of the domiciliary care service, ensuring efficient resource allocation, safeguarding protocols, and regulatory compliance.

About The Candidate

  • Proven experience in senior or dementia care within a domiciliary care setting.
  • Strong leadership skills with a talent for motivating and empowering teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a warm and empathetic approach.
  • NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care or willing to undergo this qualification.
