Retail Merchandising & Marketing Representative (Mining Retail)

Job Purpose

We are seeking a motivated, hands-on Retail Merchandising & Marketing Representative to support and grow retail operations within mining-related retail environments. This role focuses on in-store merchandising excellence, store staff support, and driving sales performance through strong execution and collaboration with retail teams.

This position is well suited to an energetic retail professional with solid merchandising experience, a background in apparel or footwear retail, and the flexibility to travel extensively.

Key Responsibilities

Merchandising & In-Store Execution

• Visit retail stores located in mining or remote environments on a regular basis
• Implement and maintain high merchandising standards across all assigned stores
• Ensure optimal product placement, sizing flow, visual appeal, and stock presentation

• Support store staff with merchandising best practices and daily execution

• Monitor sell-through, identify slow-moving stock, and recommend merchandising improvements

Marketing & Sales Support

• Support in-store marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns

• Ensure marketing materials are correctly displayed and executed in-store

• Collaborate with store teams to drive sales performance and customer engagement

• Provide structured feedback from stores to management

• Assist with the launch of new product lines and seasonal ranges

Retail Operations & Relationship Management

• Build and maintain strong working relationships with store staff and management

• Identify opportunities to improve store performance and grow sales

• Report regularly on store conditions, challenges, and opportunities

Required Skills & Experience

• Extensive retail experience within apparel, footwear, or fashion-related retail

• Proven hands-on merchandising experience (essential)

• Strong understanding of retail apparel, footwear, and accessories

• Practical in-store marketing experience

• Good commercial and sales awareness

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and manage own schedule

• Willingness and ability to travel extensively, including overnight stays
