About the Role
Were hiring an experienced Bookkeeper who is highly skilled in QuickBooks Online (QBO). The ideal candidate has 5+ years of bookkeeping experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple clients or entities accurately.
Youll handle daily financial operations, ensure all records are up to date, and deliver accurate reports that support business decision-making. This is a role for someone reliable, structured, and proactive not just data entry, but true ownership of the books.
Key Responsibilities

Manage full-cycle bookkeeping in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Record and reconcile Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.

Perform monthly bank, credit card, and loan reconciliations.

Maintain the general ledger and support month-end closings.

Prepare P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports.

Process client invoices, receipts, and payments.

Support VAT/Sales Tax submissions and ensure compliance accuracy.
- Liaise with clients, vendors, and internal teams regarding financial queries.

Prepare documentation for audits or financial reviews.

Identify and suggest improvements to bookkeeping processes.
Requirements

5+ years professional bookkeeping experience.

Proven proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Strong understanding of double-entry accounting and reconciliations.

Good command of Excel (pivot tables, formulas, lookups).

Attention to detail, accuracy, and time management skills.

Excellent communication and reliability in remote settings.

Accounting or Bookkeeping qualification preferred.
