Overview

We are looking for a highly capable Digital Marketing & eCommerce Growth Lead who is equal parts operator and creative thinker. This is a role for someone who wants ownership — not task execution.

You will be responsible for driving measurable growth across our eCommerce channel while helping shape and elevate the brand's digital presence.

This is a hands-on position within a fast-moving, founder-led environment, where initiative, accountability, and strong judgment are essential.


Core Responsibilities

1. eCommerce Growth & Optimization

  • Own and optimize the eCommerce channel to drive revenue growth

  • Continuously improve website performance, merchandising, and user experience

  • Manage Shopify configuration, integrations, and tools (reviews, subscriptions, loyalty, gifting, etc.)

  • Plan and execute sales campaigns across digital channels

2. Paid Media & Lifecycle Marketing

  • Manage and optimize paid advertising (Meta, Google, etc.)

  • Build and scale high-performing email and SMS marketing flows

  • Drive conversion, retention, and customer lifetime value

3. Content & Brand Growth

  • Develop and execute a data-driven content strategy

  • Own the full creative process:

    • Concepting

    • Shooting

    • Editing

    • Publishing

  • Produce engaging short-form video and digital content

  • Strengthen brand identity and increase audience engagement

4. Partnerships & Growth Initiatives

  • Identify and execute strategic growth opportunities

  • Build relationships with creators, partners, and complementary brands

  • Launch campaigns and collaborations to expand reach

5. Cross-Functional Execution

  • Work closely with internal teams and external partners

  • Manage workflows and ensure execution across multiple initiatives

  • Maintain alignment between marketing, operations, and brand strategy

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing a Shopify-based eCommerce store (or similar platform)

  • Strong understanding of:

    • Paid media

    • Lifecycle marketing (email & SMS)

    • Conversion rate optimization

  • Hands-on experience with:

    • Klaviyo / Attentive

    • Meta Ads / Google Ads

  • Basic design capability (Canva, Adobe, CapCut, or similar)

  • Experience creating and editing short-form video content

  • Strong organizational and project management skills

  • Data-driven mindset with ability to analyze performance metrics

  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

  • Self-starter with high ownership and accountability

  • Strong creative instincts and understanding of branding and storytelling

Preferred (Nice to Have)

  • Experience with influencer or creator partnerships

  • Background in consumer brands (eCommerce, food/beverage, lifestyle)

  • Experience working in a startup or founder-led environment

Required Experience

  • 1–3+ years in eCommerce, digital marketing, or growth roles

  • Proven track record of scaling an online store with measurable results

  • Experience managing:

    • Email & SMS lifecycle marketing

    • Paid advertising campaigns

  • Strong background in content creation (especially short-form video)

  • Experience in high-performance, fast-paced environments

  • Achieve $50K+ monthly eCommerce revenue

  • Grow Instagram to 50K followers and 5M+ monthly views

  • Scale TikTok to 10K followers and 1M+ monthly views

  • Grow Facebook to 5K followers

  • Expand YouTube, Reddit, and Facebook Group presence

Marketing Infrastructure

  • Build and maintain a comprehensive marketing calendar

  • Launch and optimize paid ads with clear metrics:

    • ROAS

    • CPA

    • MER

    • CAC

  • Develop a centralized reporting dashboard

  • Implement structured creative asset management systems

Lifecycle Marketing & Retention

  • Build and optimize email flows:

    • Abandoned cart

    • Welcome series

    • Win-back & re-engagement

  • Execute:

    • 8+ email campaigns/month

    • 4+ SMS campaigns/month

  • Grow email list to 10K+ engaged subscribers

  • Generate 300+ verified reviews

Website & Conversion Optimization

Implement and optimize:

  • Multi-shipment checkout functionality

  • Gift-with-purchase offers

  • Gift notes and wrapping options

  • Loyalty and rewards programs

  • Repurchase strategies for existing customers
