Overview
We are for our client - an established Accounting Firm seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounting / Finance Administrative Assistant to support our finance team.
This role is primarily focused on accurate data entry, invoice processing, spreadsheet management, and supporting monthly accounting and audit preparation tasks. It is ideal for someone with basic accounting knowledge who is highly organised, trainable, and eager to grow within a structured finance environment.
Key Responsibilities

Perform accurate financial data entry into accounting systems
- Assist with QuickBooks (transaction capturing, categorisation, reconciliations support)

Process and manage monthly invoices

Update and maintain Excel and Google Sheets

Organise and track reimbursement documentation
- Upload financial information to relevant government portals when required

Assist with preparation of monthly financial reports

Support audit preparation by organising supporting documentation

Maintain well-structured digital accounting records
- Work closely with senior accounting staff to ensure accuracy and completeness
Requirements
- Basic accounting knowledge (understanding of debits and credits is advantageous)

Experience with QuickBooks (required)
