Market Researcher (DRC)

The role

We are looking for native French-speaking and English-speaking researchers in Democratic Republic of the Congo to join our team in conducting sophisticated primary and secondary research on construction project activities, associated information, key stakeholders, and contacts.

• Conduct research, manage timely updates of project information, and keep track of construction project activities in Africa and the Middle East.
• Utilize integrated research methodologies, tools, technologies, and channels (such as phone calls, social media, emails, official websites...) from multiple sources to obtain accurate and up-to-date information.
• Ensure research is conducted in compliance with professional, legal, and ethical codes of conduct.
• Manage data sourcing for real-time reports, dashboards, projects market activities, and contacts
• Establish and maintain a network of key contacts that are sources of reliable information.
• Provide timely response to customer inquiries about missing projects, project updates, inaccurate information, additional information for companies, and contacts of people associated with projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in any field
• Excellent knowledge and application of research methodologies and technologies
• Excellent communication skills
• 2+ years of experience in business or market research
• Fluency in French language and English
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office packages for reporting, communication and analysis
• Own personal computer
• Very fast and stable internet connection for video calls
