About the job Kitchen Assistant
Job Purpose:
The Kitchen Assistant serves food and beverages with good service, ensures dishes match order tickets, prepares and reinstates work stations, packages food products, operates cooking equipment, and follows safety and hygiene SOPs. The role involves repetitive tasks, long hours of standing, and exposure to hot or cold environments. A neat, polite and team-oriented attitude is required.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Performance
Follow quality control, hygiene and safety guidelines
Maintain food and beverage service standards including cleaning and closing duties

Procedures
Package food products according to guidelines
Ensure ingredients and equipment are ready for use
General
Stay updated with policies and procedures
Follow food safety and health requirements
Maintain personal grooming and hygiene
Skills and Experience:
No prior retail or operations experience required
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Working Conditions:
6 working days
May need to work at different locations depending on business needs
Physical Requirements:
Long periods of standing and occasional lifting
