About the job Serviceman (semi-skilled) - Mining - Northwest / Free State
Our client is seeking five Servicemen to join their dynamic teams in either the North West or Free State provinces. This role requires a semi-skilled maintenance technician who will work underground on a daily basis, performing maintenance on the client's equipment. Specialized training will be provided at the clients training centre for six weeks, focusing on the maintenance of their specific equipment. All Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), tools, and training necessary to perform the job will be supplied. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established operation and develop specialized skills in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for maintenance of underground equipment.
- Compile product performance data.
- Facilitate on the safe and effective use of all equipment.
- Control equipment allocation.
- Manage underground stock and tools.
- Good housekeeping.
Skills and Experience Requirements:
- Must have matric with Mathematics and Science.
- Age 23 - 30.
- Must be from North West or Free State province.
- No criminal record.
- Must have done any further studies at a college after school in engineering for example N1, N2, N3, N4.
- Must be computer literate.
- Must be medically fit to work underground.
