Job Description:
Job responsibilities:
- To monitor and plan work to minimize/achieve zero interruption on utilities and facilities operation.
- Support and execute the activities required by the Executive and Management in their respective department for the plant operations.
- Execute maintenance plan to achieve Mechanical Efficiency targets in terms of machine downtime, quality, hygiene and cost, and customer complaints.
- Adhere to SOPs in executing work tasks at all times.
- Assume total responsibilities in Utilities Performance and Maintenance. Perform CILT (cleaning, inspection, lubrication and tightening) for all utility equipment.
- Maintenance Records are to be executed as per detailed in SOPs. Maintain good record-keeping and retrieval. Report writing and keeping of logbook.
- Prepare utility equipment, electrical system and machinery for operation based upon specifications, procedures, or diagrams. Monitor operation of machinery or equipment to detect malfunctions, the need for adjustments and repair.
- Ensure full compliance to safety procedure, food safety management, hygiene procedures, and 5S execution.
- Involve in troubleshooting activities & escalating issues arising to Engineer/Manager timely.
- To execute routine maintenance and preventive maintenance as per schedule. Identify causes of breakdowns or faulty operations, diagnoses needed repairs, and tests machinery or equipment to verify that problems were corrected.
- Participate actively in problem solving and process improvement initiatives; identify, evaluate, analyse and implement actions required.
- Execute any other engineering, maintenance and improvement related activities on all utility equipment as when required by Engineer/Manager.
- To Execute and maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) on utility equipment and area.
- To provide support when there is shortage of manpower resources, emergency or required by company. Require working on shift rotation and/or out of company working time depending on Project requirement/timeline.
Job requirements:
- Diploma / Certificate in Electrical Engineering or any other related Technical discipline.
- Minimum 2 years working experience in similar function, preferably from food manufacturing industry.
- Possess A1/AO license.
- Knowledge of ISO, HACCP and GMP.
- Knowledge in Facility (Boiler, Air compressor etc.)
- Possess Water Treatment competency.
- Equipped with computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point & etc).
- Willing to work on shift rotation when required.
