A reputable MNC is looking to hire a Key Account Manager (Logistics) to be based at their Prai, Penang office. The incumbent acts as a bridge between customers and internal teams to ensure smooth logistics operations and continuous improvement
1. Building and maintaining customer relationships: Work closely with clients to understand their needs and ensure smooth communication
2. Coordinating with different teams: Collaborate with operations, sales, IT, and finance teams to ensure customer requirements are met
3. Ensuring contract and Service Level Agreements (SLA) compliance: Monitor performance metrics to make sure logistics services meet the agreed-upon standards
4. Driving improvements and cost efficiency: Identify ways to improve logistics processes and reduce costs
5. Managing changes and new projects: Oversee changes requested by customers and help implement new logistics solutions
6. Tracking performance and reporting: Collect data to generate key performance reports and ensure consistency across regions
