Job Description:
- Warehouse Operations & Inventory Management
- Oversee daily warehouse operations to ensure smooth execution and compliance with KPIs, SOPs, and company policies.
- Ensure accurate inventory management with a target accuracy rate of above 99.5%.
- Supervise stock handling, storage, and movement to maximize warehouse space utilization.
- Monitor and enforce adherence to warehouse SOPs, taking immediate corrective action when deviations occur.
- Ensure efficient use and maintenance of warehouse equipment and supplies.
- Coordinate and supervise daily/weekly cycle counts and stock take preparations.
2. Team Management & Leadership
- Provide leadership, training, and direction to warehouse staff, fostering a culture of efficiency and accountability.
- Supervise warehouse executives and ensure they effectively lead their respective teams.
- Conduct performance evaluations and participate in the hiring, training, and termination processes as required.
- Ensure warehouse staff adhere to safety, hygiene, and health regulations.
- Ensure daily and weekly briefings are conducted by executives to align team efforts.
3. Logistics & Transportation Coordination
- Work closely with transporters to address and resolve delivery issues, ensuring continuous improvement in service levels.
- Support store managers with urgent transfers and deliveries.
- Ensure efficient documentation and processing of all orders in a timely manner.
- Provide clear and productive communication between warehouse and other departments to streamline logistics operations.
4. Security & Compliance
- Maintain warehouse security, including pilferage prevention, shortage control, and theft deterrence.
- Act as one of the key holders, ensuring proper opening and closing of the warehouse
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and other relevant safety and operational regulations.
- Implement and monitor best practices for warehouse safety and hygiene standards.
5. Other Responsibilities
- Analyze warehouse layout and recommend improvements for zone and product space requirements.
- Assist in developing strategies to optimize warehouse efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Perform ad hoc duties as assigned by the CFO or company management.
- Any other reasonable work functions to be advised from time-to-time.
REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse or logistics management.
- Experience in retail logistics or large-scale warehouse operations is an advantage.
- Experience in in-house logistics is an added advantage.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in warehouse management and inventory control.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards.
