Job Description:
The Group QA/QC Manager will oversee all Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) activities across multiple plants. This role involves ensuring that all products meet the highest standards of quality, consistency, and safety. The Group QA/QC Manager will develop, implement, and manage quality control systems designed to ensure continuous production of inorganic chemicals (consistent with established standards, customer specifications, and production goals).
- Develop and maintain QA/QC systems and processes across all plants.
- Establish and maintain quality control standards and systems, ensuring compliance with regulations and industry standards.
- Ensure products meet quality and efficiency standards set by the company and relevant regulatory bodies.
- Lead, mentor, and train QA/QC teams across multiple plants.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and manage the development of the QA/QC staff.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for process/product issues.
- Stay updated with the latest industry standards, technologies, and methodologies to continually improve quality assurance processes.
- Plan, execute, and oversee product inspection and testing for quality and conformance to specifications and deliverables.
- Coordinate and support on-site audits conducted by external providers.
- Manage and maintain ISO 9001 or equivalent certification processes.
- Prepare and maintain detailed reports on quality performance, standards, and compliance.
- Ensure documentation of all quality assurance activities, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), manuals, and protocols.
Qualification:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. A Masters degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a quality assurance or quality control role within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience in managing QA/QC functions across multiple sites/plants.
- Experience with ISO 9001 or other relevant quality standards.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proficient in quality management software and tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Quality Manager (CQM), or other relevant certifications are a plus.
