Purpose of the Job

To oversee the companys relationships with its most important clients. Responsible for obtaining and maintaining long-term key customers by comprehending their requirements. He or she must be able to build strong relationships with strategic customers and identify needs and requirements to promote our companys solutions and achieve mutual satisfaction. Responsible for contributing to sustaining and growing our business to achieve long-term success. The revenue goal is 70-30 split between existing and new clients.

Job Responsibilities

  • Target strategic business partners in terms of value, market share and volume
  • Build and maintain solid relationships with customers
  • Constantly create revenue generating channels from Cross Selling and Upselling streams
  • Identify market opportunities and increase the companys customer base to improve profit margins in line with the company's vision and values.
  • Manage and improve customer retention
  • Ensure customers are using cost effective services channels and increase use of automation
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve its objectives
  • Increase cross selling and up-selling opportunities
  • Analyze customers performance to drive their growth and production
  • Ensure team targets and KPIs are met
  • Ensure ACP targets are met where applicable

Job Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in business or any other field
  • 3 - 4 years of relevant working experience preferably in the Freight Forwarding and Logistics industry
  • Proven working experience as a key account manager, sales executive or a relevant role
  • Proven sales track record
  • Experience in customer support is a plus
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software
  • Proficiency in English
  • Market knowledge
  • Communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build rapport
