Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA/QC Engineer with a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in bridge or large infrastructure projects. You will be responsible for implementing quality assurance and control procedures, ensuring all works meet client specifications and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with the projects Quality Management Plan and client specifications.
  • Perform site inspections, witness tests, and verify construction works and materials.
  • Prepare, review, and maintain QA/QC documents (ITPs, checklists, method statements, etc.).
  • Coordinate with the Quality Manager and project teams on non-conformance issues and corrective actions.
  • Liaise with consultants, clients, and third-party inspectors for quality-related matters.
  • Support internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of NCRs.
  • Maintain accurate quality records and documentation in accordance with ISO standards.
  • Ensure QA/QC compliance at off-site works (casting yards, manufacturing plants, etc.).

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in QA/QC roles, preferably in bridge or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of quality standards (ISO 9001), QA/QC procedures, and documentation.
  • Experience with prestressing systems or post-tensioning is an advantage.
  • Familiar with construction materials testing and inspection.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
