Job Purpose:

To grow and manage new and existing business relationships within the recruitment and staffing sector. This role requires strong client acquisition capabilities, recruitment insight, and strategic thinking to develop a sustainable recruitment pipeline, while complying with all local employment laws and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Market Research Strategy

  • Identify and approach companies that may need recruitment services.
  • Research market trends and industries to find business opportunities.
  • Propose suitable hiring solutions (e.g. permanent, contract, or executive hiring).
  • Negotiate service terms, pricing, and agreements in line with Malaysian labor laws (e.g. Employment Act 1955).
  • Prepare clear and attractive proposals, quotations, and sales pitch materials for clients.
  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets as set by management.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Manage new and existing clients to ensure long term partnerships.
  • Ensure that all client and candidate data is handled securely, following the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) 2010.

Coordination with Recruitment Team:

  • Work closely with recruiters to ensure client job needs are met.
  • Match client requirements with suitable candidates.
  • Help organize job fairs or hiring campaigns if needed.

Reporting and Administration:

  • Keep records of clients, contracts, and communication.
  • Provide regular reports on sales pipeline, targets, and progress.

Requirements:

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Degree in Business, HR, Marketing, or similar.
  • 1 to 3 years experience in recruitment, sales, or client-facing roles.
  • Familiar with Malaysian hiring laws and market trends.
  • Experience in Employer of Record (EOR), HR outsourcing, or HR technology industries is a strong advantage.

Skills:

  • Great communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Confident in selling and negotiating.
  • Understanding of how recruitment works.
  • Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia (other languages are a plus).
