About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Executive to join our client, a global leader in lifting & handling systems supporting the energy, defense, and industrial sectors. This role offers the opportunity to manage full-spectrum finance operations, ensure accurate reporting, and play a key part in the company's growth in Malaysia.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
- Process supplier invoices, employee claims, and customer receipts; issue client invoices.
- Prepare and review bank, supplier, and customer reconciliations.
- Support monthly and quarterly management reporting, cost monitoring, and expense control.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities (journals, accruals, provisions).
- Prepare audit schedules and liaise with auditors, tax agents, and regulators.
- Assist in statutory reporting and tax filing requirements.
- Monitor daily cash flow and prepare payment proposals/bank documentation.
- Contribute to ad-hoc projects such as financing initiatives with banks or government bodies.
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent with minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, standards, and e-invoicing.
- Proficiency in Excel and reporting tools; experience with AutoCount is an advantage.
- Fluent in English, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and problem-solving mindset.
- Comfortable working in an international environment and liaising with multiple stakeholders.
- Familiar with E-invoicing will be a strong advantage
