Our client is a global leading US aerospace company in the maintenance, repair and overhaul of aircrafts in the aviation industry based in Iskandar Puteri, Johor. 

This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive health, safety, environmental (HSE), and security programs for the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of industry best practices, regulatory compliance, and risk management principles.


Job Description

Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive HSE management systems and programs.

Conduct risk assessments, identify hazards, and develop mitigation strategies.

Monitor and track HSE performance indicators and conduct regular audits.

Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses and implement corrective actions.

Train employees on HSE policies, procedures, and best practices.

Liaise with regulatory agencies and ensure compliance with HSE regulations.

Provide training and awareness programs on HSE issues to employees and contractors.

Develop and implement comprehensive security programs to protect personnel, assets and information.

Conduct security risk assessments and vulnerability analyses.

Monitor security systems and implement physical and electronic security measures.

Develop and deliver the security awareness-training program.

Coordinate with law enforcement and other security agencies.

Manage security incident response and contingency planning

Stay current of industry best practices and regulatory updates.

Provide expert advice and guidance to senior management on HSE and security matters.

Collaborate with other departments to integrate HSE and security into business processes.

Represent the organization at HSE and security conferences and events.

Performs other duties, task and responsibilities as assigned

Maintain records and documentation related to HSE &security compliance

Build strong relationships with employees, contractors, and regulatory authorities

Communicate effectively on HSE & security matters to all levels of the organization.

Authority to STOP work for any non-compliance or potential hazard / risk that can cause harm.

To fulfill the Global / Corporate requirements and compliances.

Job Requirement

Bachelor's degree in Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Security

Management, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a HSE and/or security management role.

Experience with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.

Experience in conducting safety audits , accident investigation and developing corrective action plans

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

Strong knowledge of regulations, standards, and best practices related to HSE and security. Adaptability and flexibility in responding to security incidents and emergencies.

Proficiency in security management software, surveillance systems, and Microsoft Office suite.
