Our client is a leading Global Container shipping company.

Position Summary

  • Analyze market trends, market mapping and competitors activities
  • Formulate Sales strategies/focus with Sales Manager in line with managements direction
  • Develop business expansion strategies and market mapping for value added services
  • Key partner to the Sales team defining customer value proposition for value added services
  • Driving product awareness and pursuit of new business opportunities with Sales team

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in identifying, screening, evaluating and developing business development projects
  • Drive innovation for generation of ideas and business development opportunities
  • Conduct economic and business assessments to ensure project viability
  • Develop recommendations for business plan and budget
  • Monitor and identify any threats to projects due to lack of progress with effective and timely remedial actions
  • Act as a focal point towards value creation for customer/end user
  • Grow local presence across products with Commercial team
  • Be responsible for ensuring alignment between all stakeholders externally and internally
  • Prepare and track weekly progress with Sales team and Management

Key Experience & Qualifications

  • Minimum Diploma in any discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of sales related function from shipping industry/logistics company
