About the job Service Desk Engineer (Manufacturing)
In order to strengthen our client team and provide a benchmarked IS service, they are seeking an experienced Service Desk Engineer who specializes in supporting users in the front line, especially in Lotus Notes application field
The main tasks will e related to :
- Provide front line technical support to the company employees by responding to incidents and requests utilizing internal ITSM software.
- Act as the first point of contact for Service desk support and assist Level II with more complex tickets.
- Provide troubleshooting and support for Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Teams, Lotus Notes applications and a wide variety of 3rd party applications (Browsers, Windows family operating systems).
- Provide troubleshooting and support for PCs, Laptops, Peripherals and Network devices.
- Leverage Level 2 teammates for troubleshooting and procedural support.
- Build and distribute application deployments.
- Develop, maintain, and provide documentation for internal procedures and user guides.
- Perform other IT duties as per assignment and support the team by being highly collaborative.
Qualifications and requirements:
- Bachelors degree in information technology or similar and good IT skills.
- Experience with Lotus Notes applications, such as database, workflow, etc
- Microsoft windows desktop operating systems troubleshooting skills.
- Microsoft office applications troubleshooting including Office 365.
- Network, printer, mobile, and computer hardware troubleshooting skills.
- Communication skills, problem solving mindset and desire to continue to learn and grow beyond the current role.
- Experience using ServiceNow or any other ITSM solution and fluent English.
