MAIN PURPOSE

We are hiring for an Account Assistant to support the retail back office needs of our business in Malaysia.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Monitor and resolve red light (unresolved Boutique Transactions) in SAP system
  • Verify Boutique daily receivable & collection
  • Reconcile credit card payment in Matchbox
  • Prepare and process refunds requested by boutiques
  • Prepare and review Stock list and conduct cycle / annual stock count and adjustments
  • Perform clearing for all collection & suspense accounts in SAP
  • Sales completeness check
  • Monitor and follow up boutique customers deposit on advance orders
  • Prepare monthly reports to Brand Management for confirmation, incuding turnover rent report and billings and month end closing journal
  • Ensure Brands policies and procedures are complied (eg. Anti-Money Laundering, etc)
  • Arrange and conduct trainings for retail population on Compliance, AML, credit card frauds and etc.
  • Liaise with external parties on various matters related to Retail Finance Back Office
  • Act as a contact point for Brand Retail in resolving boutique daily operational issues and communicating retail policy and procedures
  • Arrange and conduct monthly retail meetings regular visits and catch-ups with Boutiques/Brand Retail Management
  • Perform Other Ad-hoc activities

QUALIFICATION

  • Possess a recognized Degree in Accountancy or a professional accounting qualification
  • At least 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience
  • Strong accounting skills and data analytical skills with relevant experience in audit
  • Proficient in MS Office skill and familiar with accounting software/EPR systems;
  • Ability to work under pressure, quickly understand / assess complex business situations / transactions in order to determine the high risk areas, the susceptibility to fraud, the weaknesses, and the recommended improvement areas
