Cloud Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, architect, and implement enterprise OCR and Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) solutions that are scalable, secure, and reusable across multiple business domains and document types.
  
• Develop and maintain Azure-based OCR platforms using Azure AI Document Intelligence (Form Recognizer), Azure Cognitive Services, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Storage Accounts, Data Factory, App Services, Key Vault, Azure Monitor, and Log Analytics.
  
• Integrate OCR solutions with enterprise applications such as ERP, CRM, SAP, SharePoint, and business workflow systems.
  
• Develop and manage REST APIs, event-driven integrations, and automated document processing pipelines.
  
• Establish data validation, quality control, exception handling, and document processing frameworks to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  
• Ensure OCR platforms comply with enterprise security, data governance, audit, and regulatory requirements.
  
• Implement security controls including RBAC, encryption, secret management, and audit logging.
  
• Conduct architecture reviews, risk assessments, and technical discussions for OCR initiatives.
  
• Manage production OCR environments, monitor platform performance, accuracy, availability, and throughput, and troubleshoot operational issues.
  
• Develop operational runbooks, support procedures, SLA monitoring, and disaster recovery plans.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Azure Cloud Engineering or Solution Engineering.
  
• Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise OCR or Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) solutions.
  
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure AI Document Intelligence (Form Recognizer) and Azure Cognitive Services.
  
• Good experience with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Storage, Data Factory, App Services, Key Vault, Azure Monitor, and Azure DevOps.
  
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, enterprise integrations, and automated data/document processing workflows.
  
• Experience designing secure, scalable, highly available, and resilient cloud architectures.
• Strong understanding of cloud security, identity and access management, data protection, and compliance requirements.
  
• Experience working in large enterprise environments with multiple stakeholders and business domains.
  
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  
• Ability to lead technical discussions, architecture reviews, and solution design activities.
