Job Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyze, and document requirements related to payment gateways and financial processes.
- Create detailed user stories, use cases, and functional specifications for the implementation of payment solutions.
- Analyze existing business processes, identifying areas for improvement or automation in the payment flow.
- Map out workflows for payment gateway integrations and ensure seamless payment processing and user experience.
- Recommend enhancements to optimize payment workflows, reduce transaction costs, and improve efficiency.
- Work closely with technical teams (IT, developers) to integrate and customize payment gateway solutions.
- Ensure proper configuration of payment systems.
- Oversee the end-to-end integration process and manage testing to ensure functionality and user experience.
- Analyze payment data to provide actionable insights into payment trends, customer behavior, and transaction success rates.
- Develop reports and dashboards to help stakeholders make data-driven decisions about payment processes.
- Monitor the performance of payment gateways, identifying and resolving issues related to transaction errors, downtime, and performance bottlenecks.
- Ensure high uptime and reliability of payment systems to prevent disruptions to business operations.
- Stay updated on emerging payment technologies and industry trends, recommending new tools and solutions to improve payment processes.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase payment system efficiency, security, and customer satisfaction.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in business administration, Information Technology, or a related
field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Business Analyst, especially within payment processing domains.
- Experience working with various payment gateway systems.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and experience working in agile environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in requirement gathering techniques, process modelling, and documentation.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and software development lifecycle.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of relevant tools such as Microsoft Visio, JIRA, Confluence, etc.
